Quality Engineering, Staff Engineer

We are looking for an experience Quality Engineer who will focus on executing functional tests and writing regression test for software applications in Synopsys' Optical Solution Group.
Required: Expertise programming with python and testing packages such as pywinauto and unittestStrong knowledge (5+ years’ experience) of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.Bachelor’s degree or higher in optics, lighting, computer science, or similar technical field a plusProficient in writing clear/maintainable test cases/scripts from supplied test plansExperience with automated test environment such as Squish or AutoIt is a plusGood communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a distributed teamProven experience with delivering high quality software products in a demanding commercial industryExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and log software defects.Attention to detail and strong root cause analysis skillsFamiliar with agile development methodologies such as Kanban and ScrumABOUT US
