Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer 2025 season. This internship offers hands-on experience in the field of quality assurance in the automotive OEM manufacturing world. As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product reliability, compliance, and performance. You will contribute to continuous improvement efforts, assist in testing processes, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards and testing procedures for products and processes.Conduct tests and inspections to identify issues, defects, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.Prepare quality reports and documentation, including test results, defect tracking, and corrective action plans.Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues.Support the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Assist in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.

QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Basic knowledge of quality engineering principles, testing methodologies, and tools.Familiarity with statistical analysis and data collection.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
