\t\t\t\t\tThis role will be responsible for refining the effective and efficient operation of Industry and Customer certification, Quality Engineering, Quality Audits, all inspection activities and other related QA functions. The Quality Manager will have direct oversight of a group of Engineers, Incoming and process inspectorPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE •Responsible for all Quality System for operations: Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, Audits, and Corrective Actions system. •Directs ISO, AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR and other quality compliance certifications required by customers and/or government agencies, and leads and participates in compliance audits. •Communicates with customers, suppliers, employees, and management within the company regarding quality issues, problems, and complaints. •Manages the Quality Audit Program including External and Internal Audits, Corrective Actions and follow up. •Ensures Suppliers adhere to Purchase Order and Quality provision requirements. •Participates in RFQ and purchase order review process; reviews, approves, and generates purchase order requirements for raw materials and all outside processing. •Identifies and resolves manufacturing problems that affect quality;•Manages and conducts activities to support individual and team development•Generates Metrics for Tag Reduction, Cost of Quality, Escapes and other Quality metrics •Serves as liaison with manufacturing operations and engineering staff to improve product processes. •Creates a team atmosphere with operations, engineering and other functional groups to ensure robust and long-lasting corrective actions. •Ensures that quality tools and procedures are developed and applied consistently across the organization.
