This position is for a Friday-Sunday 12 hour shift

Description

The inspector will be responsible for inspection and inventory control using basic skills and knowledge of appropriate procedures, methods, and techniques, as well as applicable current good manufacturing practices. The holder of this position will help to ensure our vendors are meeting their commitments to Hale specifications.

•\tAdhere to all company EH&S policies and procedures. Report any safety and maintenance needs to supervisor/manager.

•\tInspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications.

•\tPerform Incoming Inspections based on known criteria and part specifications.

•\tApproves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.

•\tWorks with engineering to create first article reports.

•\tReports rejected material to management via report.

•\tFills out required logs and reports using Microsoft Excel.

•\tLabel all cartons with labels in a neat and consistent manner.

•\tLabel rejected material per the defined process.

•\tGenerate DMRs as needed for rejected material.

•\tScanning, filing and archival of QC related documents

•\tMoves received and inspected material to applicable locations.

•\tIssues material to manufacturing.

•\tPerform other activities as assigned by management

•\tWorks in a collaborative team setting with quality and operations counterparts that include Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse Operations.

•\tTrain others as necessary.

•\tParticipate in quality meetings, continuous improvement projects, and other meetings as required.

•\tUse JDE and other software as needed.

•\tProfessionally interact with team members and internal customers. Develop and sustain strong relationships with other departments.

•\tCompetent in the use of computer systems required.

•\tPrint reading experience required.
