Quality Environment Safety & Health Manager (f/m/d)

About the Role: We are looking for a Quality Environment Safety & Health (SHEQ) Manager (f/m/d) to join our team at Gore Heerlen B.V. In this role, you will be a key player for our organization in the areas of quality, safety, health, and environment. You will continuously work on maintaining and improving our performance. Additionally, you will establish the foundation for the management system, provide advice, and coordinate internal & external audits and inspections, including all associated tasks and responsibilities.

  

This role will be located at our facility in Heerlen in the province of Limburg, Netherlands.

 

Responsibilities: 

Implement, maintain, and improve adequate systems in the areas of quality, safety, health, and environment Actively participate at and lead projects (Lean 6 Sigma) and SHEQ-related risk studies Analyze (if necessary) external complaints, near misses, accidents, and/or environmental incidents and monitor follow-up actions Monitor compliance with standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001) and relevant legislation Represent interests of Gore Heerlen with external authorities such as local and provincial governments Promote a healthy and safe workplace and raise SHEQ awareness Ensure the necessary SHEQ-related reports are completed

 

Required Qualifications:

HVK education (Safety Engineering) or equivalent A minimum of 3 years working experience in SHEQ Experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 13485 and Lean 6 Sigma High awareness of safety, quality, and environment Ability to work in international environment both independently and in a team Proactive, hands-on approach with ability to drive and influence Team player, showing strong dedication to achieve results by using a pragmatic approach Excellent social and communication skills Fluent in Dutch and English language Ability to travel up to 5% 

 

This position requires access to information or items that are export controlled under U.S. law. Any offer will be conditioned upon Gore obtaining export control authorization for the candidate under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as required by the position.
