RC-IN SIQuality Manager
Quality Head, Smart Infrastructure, IndiaHead, Quality Management for SI OpCo, you will be responsible for managing Quality Certifications (ISO 9001), all QA functions, LOA Process, PSS(Cybersecurity), Sustainability (ESG), Lean and support Agile transformation, working with cross BU leadership to deliver quality management for overall SI. This is a role well suited to a results-oriented professional, looking for the next step in their career.Quality Management – SI • Accountable for the strategic and operational performance of the Quality department, ensuring the successful delivery of business goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery while facilitating continuous improvement and achieving commercial success• You will work with cross-functional leadership to develop and manage a Quality Management System that drives regulatory compliance, product quality, and business breakthrough targets including managing QMS certification (ISO9001).• You will refine and manage a KPI system and execution of training strategies that elevate the combined expertise for our business, drive CAPA and Internal Audit programs for the identification and remediation of deficiencies that hinder products and project across BU’s.• Crafts a quality culture and awareness together with top management for continuous improvement, high customer satisfaction and conformity with internal and external regulations. Ensures clarity, effectiveness, and efficiency of QM audits to generate business impact Initiates, promotes and controls strategic, global quality programs to drive the digital transition.• Drives the agile/lean transition of the whole organization and coach’s management to get the organization to the next level. Develops, controls, and ensures the implementation of professional non-conformance (NC) management, Ensures the implementation of quality improvement methods, and improves process performance management (e.g., 8D, RCA, FMEA, 6 sigma, etc)Product Safety – SI• Business Unit-internal  Advising/supporting Business Unit management, other managers and staff on matters of product safety (e.g. drawing up regulations, handling risk reports),Issuing Business Unit-internal guidelines on product safety, Organizing and holding training courses, Provision of cross-Business Unit information, agreements and regulations, Ensuring that aspects relevant to product safety are considered in audits, reviews and assessments, coordinating the processing of matters relating to product safety defects and serious quality problems, Monitoring action taken on risk reports within own field of responsibility, Preparing an annual report summarizing product safety at the end of each fiscal year for the defined areas of responsibility based on reports on major occurrences, on the results of audits, reviews and assessments, and on the documentation of training and improvement measures• Cross-RC-IN SI  Involvement in consultation on conceptional agreements for RC-IN SI in the field of product safety, Exchange of experience, Reporting product safety incidents with assignment of BU to the technical support center of RC-IN SI, Supporting the Product Safety Representative of RC-IN SI in preparing reports on major occurrences, Submitting the annual report on product safety to the Product Safety Representative of RC-IN SI in accordance with regulations.Technical Regulations & Standards - SI• Advising the management of the unit including those of the units assigned to it on the applicable and relevant technical regulations and standards (TR&S), developing the process of identifying and analyzing relevant TR&S and their fulfilment in local business, ensuring compliance to the applicable TR&S and maintaining the relevant documentation during the valid time frame, engage and collaborate with responsible global teams to implement the applicable local TR&S requirements, initiating the entry of TR&S risks in the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) register / tool of the unit where necessary and notifying the TRSM-RC accordingly,  to take measures to ensure TR&S requirements in case of third-party products.• Ensure that internal quality audits (at least once every year) are done covering requirements of “Circular on TR&S” and associated System as defined in the division / unit and coordinate for corrective actions; and submit the status for Management Review and take necessary decisions. Also coordinate with Corporate QS department to ensure their participation in an internal audit on 'Product Safety' aspects. Submitting the annual report on product safety to the TR&S of RC-IN SI in accordance with regulations.Product & Solution Security Officer (cybersecurity) – SI Responsible for driving product & solution security across SI organization. The Product & Solution Security Officer has the responsibility to actively drive product & solution security. advises executive management, product management, project management, R&D heads, and manufacturing heads about security for all Siemens products, solutions, and services.• Drive the definition of an individual PSS strategy (e.g., including KPIs, decision regarding security service business) and implementation policy for the BU/site/country (agreed by CEO and Principal PSSO). For defining the PSS strategy, the market is monitored, and reported security vulnerabilities & incidents are considered.• Based on individual implementation policy of the BU/site/country steer a process improvement program to establish and maintain appropriate processes (e.g., security requirements engineering, integrated threat and risk analysis, secure architecture, and design, hardening, secure coding, security testing. Etc.)• Ensure organizational preparedness for product & solution security of SI (e.g., trainings, roles & responsibilities). Ensure that stakeholders own required knowhow about product and solution security. Implement and manage incident & vulnerability handling activities and process.• Represent SI in all PSS matters. Establish an internal network and maintain internal PSS community. Synchronize adequately with BU/site/region's Information Security organization to ensure that the IT-infrastructure, Products and Solutions is sufficiently secure.LOA Coordinator• You are responsible for the implementation of the LoA guideline in SI for cross BU LOAs, maintain the LoA presentation templates and coordinate relevant LoA meetings and keep the minutes of those meetings.• The task includes Clarifying questions on LOA content, Support in preparing LoA documents, identifying contact persons for other LoA responsible, ensuring that all originals of LoA documents are being stored within the organizational unit according to the document management requirements. Ensuring that the necessary decision-making authority participates at the meeting, if applicable.• Responsible for Defining the criteria for the business-specific Business Risk Classification in coordination with the relevant specialized departments; Communicating and rolling out the LoA process and the business-specific topics at all organizational units.• Organizing and conducting training for employees and coordinate with other LOA coordinators in countries on basis and in accordance with business-specific requirements. Preparing the training documents for business-specific content. Developing and releasing business specific LoA regulations (if necessary) based on this PM@ Siemens LoA CircularExperience• Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development. Ability to create a culture that promotes a team environment.• Experience in handling product and process quality in factories and projects, good experience in implementing and complying with ISO QMS standards (ISO 9000 Lead auditor is advantage)• Experience in interacting with Senior Management within businesses and customers,• Basic and broad experience in business processes including Project Management and Factory operationsCompetency to mediate between executive management and technical staff.• Has profound knowledge about PSS methods, tools, standards, and technologies for a specific discipline. Has established a PSS management system for a specific discipline considering overall and inter-discipline aspects. Knows the relevant trends for PSS and maintains an organization-wide network.• Impeccable communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills. 5+ years of quality management and PSS or related field experience• Challenges status quo and knows how to apply Change Management tools, methodologies, and models; Manages change by implementing various change-management activities (e.g., communication).This role is based in Kalwa, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries – and the shape of things to come.
