A Quality Improvement Manager contributes to AHF by  utilizing their experience, skills, and education together with a thorough understanding of the Ryan White Care Act Program within their specific service area. The RWQIM activities will be continuous and fit within the framework of improving client care, health outcomes and client satisfaction. Primary activities include collaborating with the team to develop, implement and monitor QI plan, performance measurement prioritization and alignment with their other RWHAP Parts in the service area, data extraction for clinical quality management purposes (collect, validate, aggregate, analyze, and report on measurement data).  

 

A Quality Improvement Manager enhances the reputation of AHF by utilizing your quality improvement experience. You will have responsibility for collecting, validating, aggregating, analyzing and reporting of data. You will interact with healthcare providers and ancillary staff within the healthcare center. You will utilize skills of collaboration and engagement, you will bring the essence of the Ryan White Care Act – the safety net for uninsured HIV/AIDS patients – to our most vulnerable population. Your work will directly contribute to AHF’s success in meeting the deliverables of our Ryan White contract. Beyond the scope of the contract, your work contributes to meeting measures established by the HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) Measures and the Department of Health and Human Services.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. 

 

The Quality Improvement Manager will work as a part of a close knit team to facilitate achieving contract deliverables and assuring quality healthcare.

 

Licenses/ Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field Required.2 -3 years of experience in CQI preferred. Master’s degree in Public Health or related field preferred. Ryan White or Public Health HIV/AIDS experience preffered. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
