Quality Improvement Manager

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Quality Improvement Manager to join the Acute Care Quality Improvement team. This position is full-time (40 hrs/week) working Monday to Friday core hours with one day remote. Quality Improvement Manager Job Responsibilities:

he Quality Improvement Manager manages the quality improvement program for the hospitals within the region they serve and will travel between Inova facilities, as needed. Collaborates with hospitals executive, physician, nursing and ancillary leaders in strategic planning and implementation of data driven initiatives to achieve clinical excellence within the acute care space.  Serves as a coach, facilitator or advisor dependent upon the needs of the organization and as a subject matter expert in established performance improvement techniques and strategies.  Participates in the successful management of change to ensure improvements are spread and a sustainability plan is implemented.  Provides formal and just-in-time education on performance improvement methodologies to increase organizational improvement capability.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Quality Improvement Manager Requirements:

Work Schedule: Full-time Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 1 day p/wk remote Education: Bachelor's degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years). Experience: 6 years of healthcare performance improvement experience; or 4 years of healthcare performance improvement work experience and a master’s degree Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or CPHQ required upon start
