The Quality Improvement Professional 2 assists in implementing quality improvement and collaborative projects for Ohio’s Medicaid program. The Quality Improvement Professional 2 assignments involve the analysis of situations or data that requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position will partner closely with the Sr. Quality Improvement Professional on projects and deliverables
The Quality Improvement Professional 2 understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. The position makes decisions regarding work methods, and receives guidance where needed, while following established guidelines and procedures.

Required Qualifications
Associates Degree or 3+ years related Quality Improvement experience Prior experience in health insurance or health care settingPrior experience in Managed care or related government agreements Prior experience in Medicaid membership Understanding of healthcare quality measures (i.e., HEDIS, CAHPS, STARS, CMS etc.)Understanding of healthcare quality standardsPreferred Qualifications
