Quality Improvement Program Manager
The Clinical Quality Manager is responsible for the design, development and ongoing enhancements to the site’s quality improvement and compliance within the Radiation Oncology Services department. Additionally, the Clinical Quality Manager is responsible for participating as a clinical team member, in the area they are trained, certified and credentialed in. Is professionally engaged as: • The project manager for quality initiatives. He/she will develop strong working relationships within all areas of site radiation oncology, clinical vendors such as the EMR provider, and corporate IT to ensure timely and quality implementation of projects and workflow changes while maintaining clear expectations and facilitating meetings and planning sessions • The lead and trainer for quality improvements. He/she will provide suitable recommendations and facilitate ongoing quality improvements with ongoing training and mentoring of site staff and physicians; especially with identifying non-conformances with requirements in providing excellent clinical care. • The active participant in patient satisfaction improvement initiatives, working under the guidance of the Sr. Physicist and Site Administrator. • The internal lead and working participant on accreditation surveys such as DNV, ACRO, JCHO • An active clinical team member, in the area they are trained in, certified by the appropriate body and credentialed for.
