Responsible for collecting and evaluating clinical data, analyzing data for patterns and trends in care delivery Have ability to discover the root causes of specific patient care trends Educate staff to promote quality care and minimize patient harm and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Work with Organizational and Quality/Safety leadership and staff to create policies and procedures that ensure quality care and perform follow-up evaluations of data and organizational performance to ensure compliance and consistent, continuous improvement Facilitates and supports improvement projects/actions to meet or exceed threshold or compliance when opportunities are identified CONNECTING TO MISSION: All individuals, within the scope of their position, are responsible for performing their job in light of the Mission & Values of the Health System. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS Registered Nurse with current PA license required BSN required Minimum of 5 years experience in acute healthcare setting Three years of prior experience in quality improvement, process improvement, TQM or participation in hospital quality committee preferred Thorough knowledge of quality/performance improvement principles Experience with facilitating quality and safety assessment and improvement activities preferred Proficient in Microsoft office and other PC applications, including Excel Proficient in data base management, statistical analysis and report generation Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective working relationships with employees, physicians, Departmental Directors, Administrators and general public Excellent written and verbal skills EOE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY Redeemer Health is an equal opportunity employer.
