The Quality Improvement Specialist supports the quality improvement process through managing the processes of multiple teams and team members. The QI Specialist creates plans based on administrative priorities, establishes budgets and timelines, monitors checkpoints, identifies barriers, coaches team members, develops contingency plans, reports results, and analyzes outcomes. The QI Specialist exercises independent judgment and discretion within agreed upon limitations and takes actions as needed based on knowledge of the organization, its policies, procedures, and personnel.

Required Qualifications:
College degree. Or equivalent educ/experience. Coursework/Training Nursing and/or Quality Improvement Tools and/or Project Management. 4 years Experience in healthcare, a related component or quality management including project management responsibilities. Experience with PC and mainframe systems including abstracting and reporting functions. Experience in various PC software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphic presentation and flowcharting.Preferred Qualifications:
