Description:Weekend Inspection Supervisor
This is a unique working schedule of a 4/10D. Which means working Thursday through Sunday and having Monday through Wednesday off. An ideal schedule for a full time student or someone who would rather work weekends.

Role Responsibilities:
Manages more than one functional area in Quality, Reliability, Test or Inspection .

Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Responsible for resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm.

Responsible for all aspects of quality for assigned area of responsibility.

Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations.

Active participant in risk and opportunity management processes.

Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met.

Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements.

Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within are of responsibility. Ensures effective implementation of a metrics program and actively address adverse trends.

Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements.
This position is subject to Shift rotation

Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

This position requires a Secret Clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years aircraft operations experience. (QA/Inspections/Manufacturing/Maintenance, etc..)
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents.
• Working knowledge of Process Compliance Surveillance/Auditing.
• Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Safety, Training, FOD & Tool Control procedures, and Time Accounting.
• Previous Quality Assurance experience. Military USAF 7/9 Level NAVAIR CDI/QAR
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent in LM information systems to include: QADS, SFM, ERP, iBASEt, ETG and Microsoft Office
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $67,200 - $128,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,300 - $145,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
