**Job Title: Quality Inspector 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for the 1st shift who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of food products. The role involves enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the facility, ensuring equipment cleanliness, and verifying all labels within the facility. **Responsibilities** + Check and verify that all HACCP tasks are performed on each machine running. + Verify that all labels are accurate and match proof sheets. + Perform bacteria and allergen tests prior to product runs. + Assist the Production staff to ensure all work areas are kept clean. + Assist the Production Team Leader with entering performance data on the white board. + Perform hourly weight checks and flavor checks on each running line. + Assist Quality Assurance in reviewing production paperwork for accuracy. + Assist Quality Assurance in receiving product inspections. + Assist the Sales Team with making mixes and samples. **Essential Skills** + Manufacturing experience, ideally in the food industry. + Experience with documentation of quality standards on paper and computers. + Ability to verify line components (labels, products, documents) to provide line clearance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + Minimum of 6 months of quality experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers opportunities for career advancement and the possibility to move to different locations. The facility processes nuts and has 5 allergens in-house: peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, and soy. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EDISON, New Jersey. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $24.50/hr.
