Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift. The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing, ideally within the food industry, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. This role involves enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the facility, verifying that equipment meets company cleaning standards, and ensuring all labels in the facility are accurate.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure all HACCP tasks are performed on each running machine.Verify that all labels are accurate and match proof sheets.Perform bacteria and allergens testing prior to product runs.Assist Production staff in maintaining clean work areas.Enter performance data on the white board in collaboration with the Production Team Leader.Conduct hourly weight checks and flavor checks on each running line.Assist Quality Assurance in reviewing production paperwork for accuracy.Support Quality Assurance in receiving product inspections.Assist the Sales Team with making mixes and samples.Essential SkillsExperience in quality inspection and documentation.Experience in production and line clearance to verify no allergens.In-process inspections and production assembly.Minimum of 6 months of quality experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with food manufacturing processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our growing food packaging facility features a climate-controlled production floor. The facility processes nuts and handles five allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, and soy.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
