Job DSuPerform periodic visual, dimensional, and functional testing of molded parts and assemblies, as required in the work instructionsEnter inspection data in the appropriate computer filePerform measurements properly using pin gages, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other measuring equipment.Put defective product on hold, per the work instructionsPerform special QA inspection / assembly inspection / toll game / sorting projections as requiredCommunicate part / assembly issues noted to the responsible supervisor and / or QA ManagementPractice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment

Essential Duties of the job

High school graduate or equivalentSolid computer knowledge: experience with Microsoft OfficeMust be able to communicate in EnglishAt least 3 years experience in quality and/or a production environmentAt least 3 years experience with basic mechanical and measuring equipmentAt least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environmentNordson Corporation provides equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees.
