Quality Inspector
**Job Description** As a quality technician, you will ensure the supply quality of products complies with company standards in a DC environment. You will work with the operations team to maintain quality control disposition procedures, practices, and standard evaluation methods that ensure supplier quality and integrity. Your responsibilities will include: + Utilizing product documentation and hand measurement instruments to analyze and determine product conformance to acceptable standards + Identifying root causes of product/process non-conformance to specifications + Leading containment and corrective action activities on a day-to-day basis. + Maintain the Supplier Quality lab as a clean, safe, work environment while complying with all safety and environmental rules and regulations. + Test, analyze, contain, sort and report result for supplier quality issues. + Assist in updating reports and dashboards to support Supplier Quality. + Manage suppliers and be comfortable contacting if sorting of parts is required. + Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality relative to warranty agreements. + Package and prepare product returns for shipment to suppliers. + Ownership of certain suppliers will be required. + Ownership meaning key contact awareness, onsite visit to review corrective actions, PPAP reviews, etc… **Shift & Pay** + 7:30am - 4pm (Monday to Friday) + **$22-25 based on experience** **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Brownsburg, Indiana. **Work Environment** You will work mostly individually and then communicate your findings with your partners.
