Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of machined, sheet metal, and 3D printed components through comprehensive inspections and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Part Inspections: Perform detailed inspections of machined, sheet metal, and 3D printed components using various metrology equipment, including micrometers, microscopes, optical comparators, gauge pins, calipers, and more.Manage MRB (Material Review Board): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to disposition nonconforming products and ensure quality standards are met.Manage RMAs (Return Material Authorizations): Handle RMAs and create detailed Failure Analysis Reports to identify and address product issues.Reduce Inspection Time: Assist in reducing in-process and final inspection time to improve efficiency and productivity.Program Metrology Equipment: Aid in creating programs for metrology equipment such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), optical comparators, scanners, and articulating arms.Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the quality assurance team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with metrology equipment and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality inspection is a plus.

Pay: $25/HR
