**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** 1st shift Inspector needed for electronics/PCB manufacturer in Santa Ana, CA. 4/10 work schedule from Monday-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm. Pay will be between $20-$27 an hour and based on experience. Inspectors perform routine visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection of printed circuit boards, systems, and sub-assemblies at several points in the operation for quality in compliance with required standards. Duties: - Works from detailed Process Sheets, Visual Aid Packages, Engineering Change Orders, Production Change Notices, Critical Item List and other relevant written instructions - Inspects for proper positioning of components, soldering, markings, and other various quality requirements related to various manufacturing technologies - Obtains the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment and verifies the paperwork as the correct effective date - Verifies placement, polarity, and labels on circuit boards - Uses Defect Code List to identify defects and route boards to rework/repair facilities - Performs minimal rework/repair duties as necessary - Performs minimal hand solder operations on printed circuit board assemblies - Completes necessary routing tasks per procedure - Enters board and/or systems quantities into the Baan ERP system - Inputs data into PFS - Performs duties under close supervision - Checks configuration on all assemblies - Participates in providing timely feedback to other operations, management, and support engineering as appropriate - Follows and maintains accurate process documentation and recommends improvements - Complies with and follows all company policies and procedures - Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned **Hard Skills** + Quality Inspection (at least 1 year, electronics experience preferred) + Blueprint/Schematic reading + Use of measurement tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in SANTA ANA, California. **Work Environment** The facility is a clean, fast-paced manufacturing environment that is both AS9100 and certified. The company works on military and government projects, some of which are top secret and require top secret clearance & ITAR clearance.
