**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
As a Quality Inspector, you will collaborate with the manager to address and resolve quality errors and issues. You will inspect finished products and customer returns for quality defects. This role requires previous manufacturing quality experience, with a focus on quality error documentation, quality inspection, and customer interaction regarding quality defects. On-the-floor training will be provided.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect finished products and customer returns for quality defects.
+ Work with the manager to resolve quality errors and issues.
+ Document quality errors and inspections.
+ Collaborate with customers on quality defects.
+ Spend approximately 30-40 minutes per shift in the quality lab, with the remainder of the time on the floor performing active checks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2 years' experience in manufacturing in a non-climate-controlled environment.
+ Proficiency in using calipers.
+ Experience in quality inspection and measurement.
+ Strong data entry and computer skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with quality inspection tools such as calipers, hand tools, micrometers, and blueprints.
+ Plastics extrusion experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility located in Huntsville, producing building products and advertising materials such as signs, window frames, and door frames. The shift schedule is 8 AM - 8 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUNTSVILLE, Alabama.
