**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
Inspect machine component parts. Collaborate with the 2nd shift machinists to meet customer specifications as part of in-process and final inspection. Read and understand GD&T, tolerances, and aerospace 9102 documentation format. Perform layouts for inspection using various tools. Some CMM work will be involved. Work with 7 other people in the Inspection department.
This would be a mid-swing-shift where you can create your own schedule that overlaps on 1st and 2nd shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect machine component parts.
+ Collaborate with the 2nd shift machinists to meet customer specifications.
+ Read and understand GD&T, tolerances, and aerospace 9102 documentation format.
+ Perform layouts for inspection.
+ Utilize micrometers, calipers, height gages, protractors, and other inspection tools.
+ Perform some CMM work.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years in sheet metal parts inspection (can be doing quality while operating machinery).
+ Understanding of GD&T.
+ General computer skills (Excel).

**Work Environment**
The company provides precision sheet metal fabrication and close tolerance machining to leading OEMs in the medical, laboratory/analytical instrumentation, aerospace, defense, and electronics industries. The facility is a nice and clean 90,000 square foot shop, operating as a job shop and is ISO:9001 certified.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Maple Grove, Minnesota.
