Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Clean Room Inspector** **Job Description** Inspect Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) in various stages of production and decipher between acceptable and nonconforming material based on customer and national specifications. **MUST HAVE ELECTRONICS EXPERIENCE!!** **Responsibilities** + Analyze and interpret customer drawings, customer specifications, internal documents, manuals, and other materials to determine requirements. + Inspect or measure materials or products for conformance to specifications. + Identify items with rejection status and separate from those meeting specifications. + Record inspection data in the electronic system. + Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. + Generate and apply various assembly processes in compliance with all ESD procedures. + Use Visual Optical Inspection Aids such as a Microscope and Ring light. + Comprehend customer prints, Bill of Materials, specifications, and work instructions. + Verify all components for placement, polarity, lead prep, part marking, damage, etc. + Inspect all solder terminations in regards to alloy, wetting, and volume. + Record all inspection results and define any nonconforming issues. + Notify supervisors of nonconforming issues, and assist in identifying and correcting issues. + Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions for continuous improvement opportunities. **Essential Skills** + Experience with PCB, electronics, microelectronics, blueprints, and PWB. + Ability to use microscopes and other inspection aids. + Experience in electronics assembly, quality control, and soldering. + Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, customer prints, Bill of Materials, specifications, and work instructions. + Basic math skills and the ability to recognize and distinguish colors. + 2-3 years' experience as a QA PCBA inspector preferred. + High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. + IPC-A-610 certification history necessary. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of component prep and manual insertion of electrical components onto Printed Circuit Boards is a plus. + Ability to perform mechanical assembly of small electrical components. + Ability to use epoxy and RTV or any adhesives as needed (these may be odorous, candidates must be okay with this; all are non-toxic). **Why Work Here?** The company will pay for and provide IPC A-610 certification. There is typically a conversion to a permanent position right at 90 days. Benefits and wellness are important to the company, and they have an employee specifically dedicated to this. Pay increases are likely when brought on direct. The average tenure of employees is 15+ years. **Work Environment** The employee will be working in a clean room environment. Employees must wear a full bunny suit with foot covers, mouth covers, gloves, and a hair net. Employees cannot wear makeup, fake nails, or nail polish. Employees need to wear closed-toed shoes and pants to work. There are 10 cleanroom associate positions open on 1st and 2nd shifts. Day shift positions are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and 2nd shift positions are from 2 PM to 11 PM.
