Role Overview and Responsibilities1st Shift Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm
As a Quality Inspector you are responsible for inspecting and auditing the quality of workmanship of the completed circuit boards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilites
Proficient in determining accept/reject criteria.Perform first article inspections on new product from customer prints.Complete 1st article sheets, audit log, and Certificates of Conformance.Perform database entry, print reports, (if required) and ability to use the internal email system. Effectively interface with Quality Engineering and supervisor.Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization.Good organization of print reviews, ECR's, customer specifications, etc.Understands the ECR process, flag product for ECR implementation, and perform ECR first articles once ECR is explained.Review/audit most jobs in plant.ITAR restrictions when dealing with badges and ITAR related materials and documentation. Basic computer knowledge and skills. Knowledge and prior experience with quality inspection of PCB’s preferred.
Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.
Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job.
Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Constantly reach 90-100% of the time; Occasionally stoop, stand, walk, push, lift, grasp, talk, walk, lift, grasp 30-60%; Rarely balance, finger, 0-30% of the time.
Work Environment: The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume to be heard above ambient noise level. Team Member is required to wear safety glasses on a constant basis 90-100% of the time.
