Summary: Seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product compliance, perform inspections, and maintain calibration of tools and equipment.
Job Requirements:
Clear knowledge of basic electrical or mechanical technology
Familiarity with workmanship standards and drawing interpretation
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Knowledge of statistics and process control techniques
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Proficient in the use of precision dimensional inspection tools and gauges
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Tool Crib Calibration and QC inspection
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SMS
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect parts and materials for compliance with requirements
Evaluate defects in real time and prepare QA documentation
Verify corrective actions and rework implementation
Generate/verify traceability information and interface with internal customers
Conduct inspection duties for antenna components manufacturing, including calibration processes and procedures
Calibrate tools such as gauges, calipers, micrometers; schedule tool/test equipment calibration on/off-site
Support management in metrology supplier selection; maintain calibration databases
Assure conformance of jigs, fixtures, tooling from engineering drawings or prototypes
Education and Experience:
Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
At least five years related experience in mechanical inspection techniques.
