**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking two Quality Control Inspectors for our team. The Production Inspector performs routine visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection of printed circuit boards, systems, and sub-assemblies at various stages of production to ensure quality compliance with required standards. **Responsibilities** + Work from detailed Process Sheets, Visual Aid Packages, Engineering Change Orders, Production Change Notices, Critical Item List, and other relevant written instructions. + Inspect for proper positioning of components, soldering, markings, and other quality requirements related to various manufacturing technologies, including touch-up or defects found during inspection. + Obtain the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment and verify the paperwork as the correct effective date. + Verify placement, polarity, and labels on circuit boards. + Use Defect Code List to identify defects and route boards to rework/repair facilities. + Perform minimal rework/repair duties as necessary. + Perform minimal hand solder operations on printed circuit board assemblies. + Complete necessary routing tasks per procedure. + Enter board and/or systems quantities into the Baan ERP system. + Input data into PFS. + Perform duties under close supervision. + Check configuration on all assemblies. + Participate in providing timely feedback to other operations, management, and support engineering as appropriate. + Follow and maintain accurate process documentation and recommend improvements. + Comply with and follow all company policies and procedures. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of Quality Inspection experience, preferably in electronics. + Blueprint/Schematic reading. + Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. + Familiarity with standards like IPC 610 and J Standard. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of experience in basic electronics manufacturing. + May perform tasks such as PIR, WPI, FPI, AOI. + 2+ years of advanced electronics inspection experience (e.g., AOI). + Ability to work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of various factors. + Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. + Build productive internal and external working relationships. + Utilize optical equipment to determine the acceptability of components and solder. + Operate the Nicolet X-ray machine and other sophisticated inspection equipment and interpret the results. + Utilize a majority of the inspection tools available on the production floor. **Why Work Here?** If you show skills and aptitude, there is the potential for permanent hire.
