**Aerotek is hiring for a Quality Inspector!** **Job Description:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will inspect machined parts before shipment, perform various inspections, conduct quality audits, and calibrate gauges. Responsibilities also include reading customer drawings and providing detailed inspection reports. Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools is essential. **Responsibilities:** + Inspect machined parts before they are sent out to customers. + Perform first piece, in-progress, and final inspections. + Conduct quality audits of all machined parts. + Perform gauge calibration. + Read and interpret specific customer drawings. + Provide detailed inspection reports for all phases of inspection. + Use micrometers and calipers along with other measuring tools for quality inspection and testing. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of Quality Inspection experience. + Proficiency in quality inspection, micrometers, and gauge calibration. + Experience with micrometers and calipers. + Ability to read blueprints and drawings including GDT. + Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001:2000 standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CMM experience is an added bonus. **Why Work Here?** + This is a direct placement opportunity with potential for growth! + We offer four different healthcare plans, with a single plan free to employees with a high deductible. + After three months, employees are eligible for a 401K plan with a company match of 0.30 on the dollar for every dollar up to 15%. **Work Environment** **The work shift is from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm** , with _mandatory overtime currently required._ Most employees either come in at 6am or stay an hour late during the week for overtime, and work from 6am to 12pm on Saturdays. **Pay is dependent on experience but ranges from $22 to $32 per hour, with the higher end of the pay scale requiring CMM experience** . **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $66560.00 401(k) Plan: Employees can contribute a portion of their salary to a retirement savings plan, often with employer matching contributions.
