**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Level 1 or 2 Quality Inspector. The role involves conducting inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. You will use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances, perform visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or non-conformities, and document inspection results while maintaining accurate records of findings. Collaboration with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions is also essential. Additionally, you will assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes, participate in internal audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
**Responsibilities**

+ Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
+ Perform visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or non-conformities.
+ Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
+ Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing.
+ Well-versed in quality standards and able to interpret blueprints and drawings.
+ Experience with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
+ Ability to perform final inspections of products.
+ Proficiency in operating a computer.
+ Knowledge of GD&T (Geometrical Dimensional Tolerancing) and AS9102.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma required.
+ Bachelor's Degree or above if intending to move into leadership positions.
+ Experience in manufacturing inspection, preferably in aerospace or medical device industries.
+ Tenure is highly considered in resumes.

**Work Environment**
Manufacturing environment that can occasionally be loud. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. The first shift hours are from 5AM - 3:30PM (Monday - Thursday) or 5AM - 1:30PM (Monday - Friday) with opportunities for overtime. The 2nd shift starts at 3:30PM. The assignment is 90 working days temp-to-hire (approximately 4 months). Attendance and tenure are highly considered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
