Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of machined metal parts and incoming materials to ensure they meet required specifications.Perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and assist with Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).Review mechanical and electrical components to verify compliance with specifications and purchase orders.Inspect finished goods to confirm they meet quality standards and specifications.Ensure that all critical documents are accurate, compliant, and properly maintained.Create Material Review Reports (MRR) when needed.Inspect welded components, soldering, and installations to ensure adherence to required standards.Review data and documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policies.Utilize Microsoft Office tools for data entry and reporting.Measure components using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and optical comparators.Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in quality control, inspection, and quality assurance processes.Proficiency with measurement tools, including micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.Strong ability to read blueprints and apply visual inspection techniques.Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing data, documentation, and conducting inspections.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
IP 610 Certification required.Associate’s degree or at least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret electrical assembly diagrams and mechanical drawings.Experience inspecting soldered installations (IPC-A-610) and welded components (AWS D17.1) is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).Previous inspection experience is a plus but not required.Ability to support aerospace activities as needed.Why Join Us?
