**Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Level 1 or Level 2 Quality Inspector for our day shift to conduct inspections of aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. You will use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances. You will also perform visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or non-conformities, document inspection results, and maintain accurate records of findings. This role involves collaborating with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions, assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes, participating in internal audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
+ Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
+ Perform visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or non-conformities.
+ Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
+ Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing.
+ Proficient in quality standards and able to interpret blueprints and drawings.
+ Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
+ Ability to operate a computer.
+ Experience with CMM, GD&T, and AS91012 standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma required.
+ Bachelor's Degree or above preferred for leadership positions.
+ Manufacturing inspection experience, aerospace preferred.
+ GD&T knowledge is a plus.
+ Tenure is highly considered in resumes.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a manufacturing environment that is occasionally loud. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. Hours are 1st shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday - Thursday), with the opportunity for overtime, usually 4-6 hours a week. The assignment is 90 working days temp to hire (approximately 4 months). Attendance is crucial, and tenure is highly considered.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.68 - $25.00
