**Quality Inspector** **Summary** We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and conformance of materials, parts, and finished products throughout the fabrication process. This role plays a vital role in upholding our high standards and maintaining consistent production. **Schedule** **1st Shift:** Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (50-hour work week)- Will train on 1 st shift then move to 2 nd shift **2** **nd** **Shift:** Monday-Friday, 4:00PM-2:30PM (50-hour work week) **Pay Scale** $18-$23/hr (Depending on experience level) **Responsibilities** * Conduct dimensional and visual inspections at various stages of production, including raw materials, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, processes, and final products. * Document and identify materials using heat numbers for traceability. * Verify that steel fabrications meet specifications by checking parts and assemblies for dimensional accuracy. * Perform visual inspections of welds to ensure quality. * Meticulously document and report any nonconformities identified during inspections. * Communicate effectively with management and shop floor personnel regarding quality matters. * Proactively recommend solutions for ongoing quality issues and provide guidance to welders for improvement. * Ensure welders maintain the necessary certifications. **Qualifications** * Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control inspection, preferably focused on welds. * Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document nonconformities. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams. * Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
