**Quality Inspectors Needed** **Job Description** This role is for the 1st shift from 5am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed. Our client is a leader in the aerospace industry, specializing in single movement, direct drive pressure gauges, fighter-jet caliber accelerometers, and high pressure/leak-proof precision machined parts. **Responsibilities** + Perform various inspections (Receiving, In-Process and Final). + Document, track, and communicate test results. + Participate in functional testing verification, collect data and prepare reports. + Support Manufacturing and Production to meet Production targets. + Work independently with minimal supervision. + Record and report on testing metrics. + Conduct First Article Inspection in accordance with AS 9102 requirements. + Approach others in a tactful manner; React well under pressure; Accept responsibility for own actions; Follow through on commitments. **Essential Skills** + Hands-on experience with First Article Inspection. + Proficiency in using common measurement instruments (Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges, etc.). + Ability to interpret and work with blueprints and inspection reports. + Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). + Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer skills. + Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus. + Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry. + Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. + Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Optical Comparator is a plus, but training is available. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a small work environment where many employees have long tenures, with some having been with the company for over 23 years. The dress code is typical for a machine shop setting.
