Quality Inspector Details:

Direct Hire position$28.00 to $31.00 /hourFirst ShiftDimensionally inspect all parts using measuring devices to ensure they meet customer specificationsFollow specifications of blueprints and general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Analyze inspection data and manage non-conformancesComplete required paperwork and checklistsPerform work with a high degree of responsibility with an emphasis on safety and qualityRead and understand blueprints, part drawings, internal process instructions and other technical data to perform visual and dimensional inspection activitiesCollaborates with all departments to ensure quality at the source and continuous improvement

Quality Inspector Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in quality control in metal fabricationWorking knowledge of precision measuring instrumentsProficient in GD&T and the reading of drawingsStrong mathematical and communication skillsAbility to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectivelyProficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelExperience inspecting and processing paperwork for AS9100D is preferredExperience with AWS is preferredExperience operating a CMM is preferred
