Job Title: Inspector
Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for performing activities related to the inspection of medical devices using a variety of inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators.

ResponsibilitiesGenerate inspection records and record general part information.Perform inspections based on specified techniques such as comparator, gauge, micrometer, caliper, and CMM.Document readings from inspection points.Generate 'non-conforming reports' for parts which do not meet specifications.Essential SkillsAbility to read and understand blueprints/manufacturing drawings.Ability to use metrology equipment including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.Experience with CMM is preferred.Understanding of GD&T.High attention to detail to inspect small parts.Additional Skills & Qualifications3-5 years of inspection experience.Ability to lift 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work is conducted in clean-room/lab environments. Personal protective equipment including gloves, lab coat, and mask (surgical) is required when needed. Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Training will be provided during shift hours.

This is a Contract position based out of Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
