Quality Inspector

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting product excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Inspector
**Location:** Niagara Falls, NY
**Pay Range:** $23-$26/hr based on skill and experience
**What's the Job?**
+ Inspect the quality and conformance of products used in the manufacture of heat transfer products at various stages of the production process.
+ Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and standards to confirm product requirements.
+ Conduct various tests and quality checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
+ Identify product imperfections and perform minor cosmetic repairs as required.
+ Record and maintain test data and process transactions into the computer system.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); a 2-year degree is preferred.
+ Proficient in the accurate use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
+ Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a team-fostered environment.
+ Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
