Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to perform thorough visual checks on all components, including sheet metal parts, coils, blower motors, and assemblies, to identify any visible defects. The ideal candidate will use precision measuring tools to verify that all components meet specified dimensions and tolerances, check incoming raw materials and components against purchase orders and specifications, and document inspection findings. The role also involves ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies, as well as providing feedback to production personnel on quality concerns and resolving issues promptly.

ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough visual checks on all components to identify visible defects such as dents, scratches, misalignments, or improper welding.Use precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify that all components meet specified dimensions and tolerances.Check incoming raw materials and components against purchase orders and specifications to verify quality before production.Document inspection findings, including detailed reports on defects, non-conforming items, and corrective actions taken, using quality management systems.Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies.Provide feedback to production personnel on quality concerns and work to resolve issues promptly.Essential SkillsStrong understanding of quality inspection in manufacturing processes.Proficiency in using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Excellent visual acuity and ability to identify even minor defects.Familiarity with industry quality standards and regulations.Ability to interpret data and identify trends to inform quality improvement initiatives.Clear and accurate record-keeping of inspection results.Effective communication with production personnel, quality management, and other stakeholders.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of schematics preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility is air-conditioned and equipped with industry 4.0 technology. The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required, and climb portable ladders. Use of personal protection equipment will be required. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are necessary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
