**Aerotek is hiring a Quality Inspector**
**Responsibilities**
+ Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators.
+ Read and interpret complicated blueprints and specifications.
+ Conduct inspections using a microscope with 5x optical zoom.
+ Work with a wide variety of parts in different shapes and sizes.
+ Perform quality control on a wide range of parts for over 20 clients.
+ Demonstrate proficiency in math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals in both English and Metric systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
+ Proficiency in using standard measuring and testing devices such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, radius gauges, and optical comparators.
+ Ability to read and interpret dimensions, tolerances, and specifications from blueprints.
+ Strong mathematical skills in English and Metric systems.
+ Excellent team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with video comparators or vision systems is a bonus.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a climate-controlled medical device shop that is extremely clean and follows FDA protocols. The production floor is spacious, and employees have ample space to work without being in close proximity to one another. This position is located at the Memphis, TN facility.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
