**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a Quality Technician to monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs. The Quality Technician's responsibilities include upholding quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, following quality control systems, and helping to determine corrective actions. You will also work with Quality Engineers and supervisors to meet quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Follow quality standards. + Adhere to quality control systems. + Consistently identify mistakes across thousands of inspections. + Document data and report issues closely following quality standards. + Perform tests and use measurement tools to evaluate product quality. + Monitor and analyze quality performance. + Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met. + Collaborate with Quality Engineers and Supervisors to maintain controls and improvements. + Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues. + Work with Quality Engineers to develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements. **Essential Skills** + Quality control + Calipers + Quality inspection + Visual inspection + Quality check + Experience in quality assurance + Micrometer + Final inspection + Upholding quality standards **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required + Experience in quality in a manufacturing environment + Steel Toe or Composite Shoes required + 2+ years of experience in quality systems, quality assurance, or a similar role preferred + Knowledge of ISO 9001 preferred **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development. You will have the chance to work with a dedicated team and contribute to innovative projects that make a difference. **Work Environment** The work environment includes multiple shifts: 1st Shift - 6:30am-2:30pm (M-F), 2nd Shift - 2:30pm-11:00pm (M-F), and 3rd Shift - 10:30pm-7:00am (M-F). Breaks include two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch, coordinated with team members to ensure continuous production. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe shoes, full gown, hair net, face net, and gloves are required in the plastics area. The facility is monitored 24/7 by a security team and cameras, providing a safe environment, especially for the 3rd shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
