Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working closely with engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing various measuring instruments, and ensuring the highest standards of quality are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products meet design requirements.Utilize basic measuring instruments and gages, including gauges, calipers, micrometers, and blueprints, to perform inspections.Conduct first piece inspections, receiving inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.Maintain accurate records, files, and reports related to inspection activities.Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions to resolve quality issues.Maintain calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment.Familiarity with inspection methods and sampling plans.Proficient in Microsoft programs for documentation and reporting.Qualifications:
Practical knowledge of basic measuring instruments and gages, including gauges, calipers, micrometers, and blueprints.Experience with inspection methods and sampling plans.Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, etc.).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience in maintaining records, files, and reports.Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions.Knowledge of calibration procedures for inspection equipment.Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a quality inspection role.Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
