Quality Inspector

Aerotek is hiring a Quality Inspector for a fabrication shop in Spokane.
**Job Duties:**
• Follows standardized procedures to perform first part, final and receiving inspections on a wide variety of parts and assemblies.
• Utilizes standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs.
• Accurately compares products to engineering drawings/specifications, purchase order and inspection plans using common manual inspection equipment.
• Identifies and documents non-conformances.
• Provides constructive feedback for quality improvement.
• Works under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
**Requirements:**
• One (1) year of quality inspection experience or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
• Proficient use of basic meteorology equipment including, but not limited to, calipers, height gage, surface plate, protractor, radius gauge, micrometer and dial indicator.
• Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) desired
• Inspection skills with FARO Arm and Programmable CMM desired
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, to express needs and ask questions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Knowledge of and familiarity in Microsoft office products and ERP manufacturing software.
• Basic computer tasks (MS Windows, Office, ERP Software).
**Details:**
• Day shift
• Pay starts at $24 - $30/hr, depending on experience

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.45/hr.
