Quality Inspector – Ensuring Excellence in Aerospace Manufacturing

Job Type: Full-Time; Consultant (12 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (8 AM – 5 PM)
Pay Rate: $25.75 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a highly skilled Quality Inspector to support quality improvements in Repair & Overhaul processes within the aerospace industry. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest industry standards by overseeing repairs, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the quality of repairs across Operations Value Streams. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to enhance processes and ensure continuous improvement. Enforce safety regulations and maintain a culture of quality and accountability. Analyze inspection data to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions. Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring effective long-term solutions. Maintain detailed records of quality inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Develop and maintain quality documentation. Other assignments as directed by the Quality Manager. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Strong understanding of operations processes and quality control methodologies. Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Experience in manufacturing quality engineering or a similar role. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $25.75 per hour
