**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials and incoming materials meet the required specifications and quality standards. This role involves performing inspections, data entry, and handling materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform raw material receiving in accordance with all internal requirements and external regulations.
+ Perform data entry to receive incoming materials into the inventory database and generate the necessary receiving documents.
+ Operate several types of forklifts and material handling equipment to move materials safely into appropriate standard and pushback racking locations.
+ Inspect and sample raw materials, including various chemicals, controlled substances, APIs, rolled goods, packaging materials, etc., following proper documentation, safety, and handling procedures, company policies, applicable DEA regulations, cGMP, EU, and FDA guidelines.
+ Utilize specialized equipment, such as glove boxes, scales, rulers, and various sampling tools, for material sampling.
+ Follow safety procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respirators, PAPR hoods, and chemical protective suits.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2+ years’ experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Knowledge of ISO, cGMP (21CFR 211, 820), and Quality procedures.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
+ Ability to analyze data and situations and apply appropriate solutions.

**Work Environment**
The work environment involves physical activities such as bending (20%), kneeling (5%), lifting (up to 50 lbs.) (15%), sitting with the ability to move at will (25%), and walking (35%). The shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility for a later start time but no later than 9 am.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
