Quality Inspector II
Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector II. The hours for this role are 7:00am-3:30pm The hourly rate for this position is 24.09-26.50 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** **Key Responsibilities:** • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to mechanical and visual inspections. • Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions and specifications. • Utilize Non-Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications. • Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities. **Qualifications:** **Minimum Requirements:** • 2 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspections • 2 years of experience using business class software in a professional employment setting. • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Lean Six Sigma knowledge. • Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP) knowledge • Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings, Workmanship Standards, Military and Federal Specifications, and basic GD&T (Basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). • First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102 knowledge • ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification. • Computer, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; organization and time management skills. \#IND123 \#IND456 \# LI-KM1 \#LI-RR2 **.** We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
