Quality Inspector (Open To Entry Level)
**Job Title: Quality Inspector (Open to Entry Level)** **Job Description** We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to inspect and test completed refrigeration units. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be familiar with blueprints and schematics. This role involves inspecting parts to ensure proper assembly, confirming that compressors are hooked up correctly, verifying correct air flow, tightening screws, and more. Knowledge of refrigeration systems is helpful but not required. 5am-3:30pm, M-Th $20-$21/hr **Responsibilities** + Inspect and test completed refrigeration units + Ensure parts are properly assembled + Verify compressors are connected correctly + Check for correct air flow + Tighten screws and other components + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics + Complete documentation daily and hourly using pen and paper + Ensure all processes are followed without sacrificing quality **Essential Skills** + Strong attention to detail + Ability to read and write effectively + Familiarity with hand tools and wrenches + Ability to read tape measures + Methodical approach to work **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred) + Experience with helium spectrometer (preferred but not required) + Knowledge of HVAC systems and quality control + Understanding of lean manufacturing principles **Why Work Here?** We offer the opportunity to train into other areas, such as brazing, quality control, and function testing. Long pants (no pajama pants) and steel-toed boots are required. The role also includes cleaning units before they are shipped.
