Quality Inspector Supervisor
Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description The Quality Inspector is responsible for managing activities within Inspection Services. This role involves providing daily instructions to the Inspection Services team and dedicating a portion of their capacity to inspecting materials and finished products. A significant part of this position includes supporting non-conforming materials, corrective actions, customer feedback records, calibration, internal audits, and work instructions. The Quality Inspector will also use network analyzers for electrical testing and product analysis and assist in training others. Responsibilities + Manage activities within Inspection Services + Provide daily instructions to the Inspection Services team + Inspect materials and finished products + Support non-conforming material processes and corrective actions + Maintain customer feedback records + Conduct calibration and internal audits + Develop and maintain work instructions + Perform electrical testing and product analysis using network analyzers + Assist in training team members Essential Skills + Experience with micrometers, calipers, and rulers + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Proficiency in quality inspection and final inspection processes + Knowledge of electrical inspection, testing, crimping, and wiring + Familiarity with GD&T, CMM, VSWR, VOP, RF, and ISO standards + Minimum 2 years of quality inspecting lead experience + Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical properties such as VSWR, VOP, RF, and Ethernet cable + Associate degree in a related field Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong mathematical skills including basic calculations (fractions/decimals) + Ability to use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers Work Environment The work environment is a very clean, air-conditioned production floor in a small shop with a family feel, comprising around 40 employees. The facility is brand new and located near Majestic Theatre. The department consists of 5 people, fostering a close-knit team atmosphere. The company culture is very inviting and supportive, making products for the aerospace industry. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
