With its tires, Continental makes a significant contribution to safe, efficient and environmentally friendly mobility. **Project Intern will be working on:** 1. **Calibration Monitoring Implementation** 2. Review existing documentation calibration related (i.e. calibration certificates, database etc..) 3. Develop a comprehensive database for all equipment requiring calibration. 4. Establish or document calibration schedules and assign or document responsible contacts. 5. **Deviation / Disposition Monitoring KPIs** 6. Create or enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to track disposition turnaround times and backlog. 7. Monitor and compare SAP hold inventory against quality records. **Project Description and Objective:** 1. **Calibration Monitoring Implementation:** 2. Learn to develop and manage a calibration database. 3. Understand the importance of regular equipment calibration and its impact on quality control. 4. **Deviation / Disposition Monitoring KPIs:** 5. Gain experience in creating and analyzing KPIs. 6. Learn to use SAP for inventory management and quality record comparison. **Outcome of Project:** 1. **Calibration Monitoring Implementation:** 2. Develop a plant-wide calibration database that includes: 3. List of equipment and their instrument numbers. 4. Calibration frequency. 5. Contact information for calibration services. 6. **Deviation / Disposition Monitoring KPIs:** 7. Establish KPIs for monitoring disposition turnaround and backlog. 8. Implement a system to compare SAP hold inventory with quality records. + Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Engineering, STEM, or related field. + Minimum GPA of 2.8 + Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
