Quality Key Account Manager for Honda

Your Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the implementation of customer specific requirements into the Schaeffler Quality System (e.g. CSR-Review; OEM-specific Quality Standard / S291xxx).
- Develops and implements a customer Q-strategy for global quality topics (Q-Roadmap), integrated and aligned with GKAM growth strategies
- With regional support, implements global customer-specific quality requirements
- Develops and implements a monthly quality reporting (Customer view/ KPI´s & targets)
- Monitoring the quality performance of the Key customer and lead the improvement actions to be back to the positive trend
- Visits the regions and other countries regularly.
- Agrees quality documents and –procedure within the KA
- In conjunction with GKAM/KAM and BD, settles warranty claims.
- Prepares quality topics for the top management events and meetings.
- Draws up quality content in GKAM “one-pagers” and other internal customer reports
- Support key projects (e.g. Cross BU project..) if necessary - not as subproject manager quality

whilst conducting following actions together with GKAM as in development phase to be fully functional GKAM-Q in the coming year(s);
- Responsible to align the Schaeffler Quality System according to the customer specific requirements, together with corporate quality if necessary.
- Is responsible for the management of relations with Quality relevant contacts internally, including but not limited to the Q-KAM organization, and externally
- Negotiates framework agreements and terms and conditions of quality topics within the KA
- Is fully included in the communications between Schaeffler and the KA according to quality topics, for both development and manufacturing

Your Qualifications

- Social Skills: Excellent skills in building up and maintaining relationships and networks
- Moderation and presentation skills: Can moderate between different interest groups and is strong in making target-group oriented speeches and has presentation skills to executive board
- Assurance when dealing with different cultures


Required Knowledge
- Experience in the quality processes of Schaeffler and customer.
- Product and process knowledge in technical areas of high customer specific relevance (e.g. power train and chassis) – to be developed if necessary
- Solid focused legal knowledge in contract law
- Negotiation Skills focused to quality related matters

Required Education & Experience:
- University degree, ideally with technical background (e.g. mechanical/ electrical engineering)
- Highly developed understanding of automotive quality processes.
- At least 10 years’ experience in customer-oriented quality fields, ideally with at least 5 years’ experience in the automotive or supply industries.
- Strong leadership (managing in the matrix, using expertise and persuasion)
- Strong business English skills, confident using the language of the global key account
- Willingness to travel
