**This is a 3rd shift position. 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift approximately 10:00pm to 8:30am**

Your role at Baxter

The Quality Lab Supervisor provides support for daily operations of the lab and controls the workflow while implementing testing standards and policies.

What you'll be doingSupervise safety measures of lab. Assist lab personnel and improve their performance.Ensure completion of all testing, including special project / protocol testing in a timely and appropriate manner.Assist in implementing quality and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GLP, QSR, cGMP, USP, and CDR rules and guidelines), and ensure compliance with testing SOPs and specifications.Supervise the testing techniques and accuracy of all records and documentation that is done in the lab.Participate in pro-active functions that impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, improve quality and provide new product support.Ensure employees are properly trained and audited. Make appropriate staffing decisions.Ensure accurate training and auditing of employees and evaluating performance via performance appraisals.Prepare, review and revise, as required, SOPs and specifications.Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration, and internal audits are performed on schedule.
What you'll bringBachelor's Degree in Chemistry, or biological science with Analytical Chemistry or Laboratory coursework. Minimum 5 years experience in the healthcare industry.Must know operating and troubleshooting procedures for lab equipment, and quality and regulatory requirements pertinent to pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing labs.Must possess excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with subordinates, peers and managers.Must not be allergic to penicillin and cephalosporin drugs.Must not be color blind.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $76,000 - $104,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
