Description:
Quality assurance technician supports operations through processes and equipment to protect operators, ensure compliance to regulating authorities, meet engineering specifications and protect our customers.
Responsibilities:
Calibration of test equipmentTest criteria (limits and rules) managementTroubleshooting and repair of electromechanical equipmentFabricate and maintain testing equipment and accessoriesDevelop and maintain data queries in support of data driven decisions, six sigma methodsSupport key programs individually, as part of and in the support of teamsDevelopment and support of operators of testing equipmentComply to and support safety requirements and initiativesFacilitate and maintain a safe clean working environment in the quality assurance lab, work station and shopKey competencies:
Bachelors degree or trade school with particular emphasis on electrical systems, electronics and microprocessorsCompetent with bench top test equipment including digital oscilloscopes, signal generators and serial data analyzersCompetent programming using LabVIEW, prefer National Instruments certificationKnowledge of programmable automation controllers and programmable logic controllersCompetent with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent understanding of refrigeration systemsKnowledge of leak detection technologiesKnowledge of Sigma/Lean toolsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems in a production environmentDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and reach objectivesWilling and available to work any shiftMinimal travel requirements,
