Job Description
The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for conducting a variety of scientific tests on raw materials, component parts, and finished products to analyze quality and ensure specifications are met. The individual in this role plays a critical part in the company, helping to prevent defects, reduce waste, and improve quality, output, and efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure the chemistry, temperature, and pH of the plating baths are maintained through regular analysis.Make chemical additions to tanks based on analytical tests and other requirements.Maintain anodes, filters, and other physicals on the plating bath.Ensure that all parts meet the quality requirements.Maintain lab data within Lab Management Software (LMS).Manage overall lab maintenance, including inventory control, raw material checks, moving drums, and organizing chemical storage.Work closely with the production line as well as the quality assurance team to troubleshoot issues and recommend process improvements.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma.2-3 years of wet chemistry lab experience in an industrial environment.Shift
The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
