**Job Title: Quality Lead** **Job Description** Responsible for determining materials and product conformance to customer drawings and quality requirements through in-process and final inspection as defined by inspection/test plans, inspection reports, and internal Quality Systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform incoming and final inspection of machined components using precision measuring devices. + Create, complete, and control clear and accurate inspection report documentation for the record-keeping of project measurement data. + Review and develop inspection and test plans, and assist with in-process machining audits. + Report non-conforming material and product, support the completion of non-conformance repair activity, and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. + Assist with customer source inspections and customer quality-related visits and requests. + Maintain the internal calibration system via internal device audits, and support the development, writing, training, and implementation of process documentation. + Participate in internal process audits, assist with process improvement activities, and support the development, writing, training, and implementation of process documentation. **Essential Skills** + Quality engineering + Quality assurance + PPAP + Quality control + Faro Arm Metrology Tracker + ISO 9001 + Heavy Industrial Quality Assurance + Process audits + GD&T + First Inspection + Final Inspection + Process improvement + Process analysis + Process implementation + Faro Arm Experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Faro Metrology-Tracker and Arm + 5 years of Quality experience, preferably in a heavy machinery manufacturing setting + Understanding of the machining process, machine shop environments, and/or experience as a machinist + Ability to understand and interpret manufacturing code, quality documentation, and criteria + Read and interpret customer blueprints and GD&T principles + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills + Sound personal and professional communication skills + Uphold a positive attitude and present a consistent, strong work ethic **Why Work Here?** Join a laid-back and supportive shop environment with a focus on quality and process improvement. The team recently lost their Quality Manager to retirement and has just installed a lightly used Boring Mill.
